Top 10 Airlines of 2020

The 2020-A year that left us with untold disaster and miserable experiences. Covid-19 forced people all around the world to stay indoors with restricted traveling options. The majority of the countries closed their borders for international travelers to avoid the spread of the deadly virus. With worldwide travel restrictions, the aviation industry suffered badly. But as nations began to ease their traveling restrictions, the aviation industry started to gain back its pace. Like every year, the Aviation Excellence Award was carried out by AirlineRatings.com, which is an aviation safety- and product-rating site based out of Perth, Australia. The winners are selected by a panel consisting of seven editors working at AirlinRatings.com. They consider key factors like operational safety, passenger reviews, profitability, investment rating, fleet age, and merchandise offerings like premium economy on long-haul flights and seating options in other classes.

For 2020, Airlinesrating.com awarded the following airlines:

1. Air New Zealand:

It is the sixth time that Air New Zealand won the title of the world’s best airline. Air New Zealand picked up the premium economy award alongside its overall title. The airlines also came out number one in most of the audit criteria and became the best airlines for showing commitment to excellence in all aspects of its business. Inflight innovations, environmental leadership, and staff motivation also played important roles in winning the best position.
